Every 4th Saturday of the Month 8:30 to 2:00

MARKET on CHAPEL is currently the only market on Phillip Island that allows all types of stalls – second hand, car boot, party plan, produce, hand made, retail, imports, fundraising, plants & more. The only restriction they uphold is the number of the same type of products sold. For that reason stall holders must book in prior to market day.

Cowes Island Craft Market

The Markets theme is Make, Bake and Grow, you will find a large range of products from local producers and crafts people. Profits from the market are returned for local community needs.

Cowes Night Market

Churchill Island Farmers Market

4th Saturday of each month 8am - 1pm

Churchill Island Farmers Market is run on the fourth Saturday of each month and consists of over 40 stalls showcasing local produce grown and made in Gippsland.

Held on the pictureque Churchill Island, you can take advantage of the surrounds with a morning walk around the island before strolling through the market to pick up your fresh produce.

So come along and sample some of the best examples of fresh Gippsland produce in the region!

International Island Classic


The International Island Classic celebrate 26 years of historic racing!

In its 26th consecutive year the event features the fiercely contested International Challenge where teams will battle a points score challenge for team success and the perpetual Ken Wootton trophy, awarded to the highest individual point scorer from the International Challenge races.

The weekend of 8 – 10 March is not only the 30th anniversary of the Phillip Island Classic ‘Festival of Motor Sport’, today regarded as one of the largest historic motor racing events in the world, but a number of major anniversaries are also being highlighted.

Island Whale Festival


Celebrating the annual whale season

The winter school holidays don’t just mark the half-way point of the school year; they also mean that humpback whales, southern right whales and even the occasional pod of killer whales start to arrive in our coastal waters. The Island Whale Festival celebrates the arrival of these majestic creatures in our waters.

This immersive three day event takes place on Phillip Island from 5 – 7 July, and has something for everyone, with a weekend packed full of free or low cost activities right across the island. Whale spotting will of course be a highlight of this weekend, and visitors will have plenty of opportunities to do this from either land or sea.

Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix


The Phillip Island race track is a sacred place for any fan of two wheels. Where epic turns are cast against a stunning backdrop.
